Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Rekva LLC ("Rekva") offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first monthly subscription payment for new customers. If you are not satisfied with the Service during your first 30 days, you may request a full refund of your first month's subscription fee.
The guarantee applies to the base monthly subscription fee only. It does not apply to:
- Per-minute overage charges
- Charges from subsequent billing periods (months 2 and later)
- Third-party fees that may be incurred in connection with your account (for example, fees charged by payment processors for chargebacks)
- Number-porting fees, where applicable
2. Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a refund under the guarantee, all of the following must be true:
2.1 First month only
The refund request must be for your first paid month on Rekva. Refunds are not available for any month other than the first.
2.2 One guarantee per entity
The guarantee is limited to one refund per business entity. We treat the following identifiers as belonging to the same entity, whether or not the accounts are nominally separate:
- EIN or other tax identifier
- Legal business name or DBA
- Billing address
- Payment method (card fingerprint or bank account fingerprint, as reported by our payment processor)
- Primary contact email address or phone number
- Provisioned phone number (the Twilio toll-free or ported number associated with the account)
If an account shares any of these identifiers with a prior account that received or was offered a refund, the new account is not eligible for the guarantee. We rely on identity-linkage signals from our payment processor and our own records to determine eligibility.
2.3 Good-faith use
To be eligible, the account must have received at least five (5) inbound calls handled by the AI agent during the first 30 days. This requirement exists because the guarantee is intended to protect customers who tried the Service in good faith and were not satisfied. Accounts that never put the Service to use, or that simulated calls solely to satisfy this threshold, are not eligible.
2.4 Forfeiture on prior refund
A customer (or any entity sharing any of the identifiers in Section 2.2) that has previously received a refund under the guarantee is not eligible for the guarantee on any subsequent subscription, regardless of when the new subscription is opened.
2.5 No active chargeback or dispute
If you have opened a chargeback or payment dispute against Rekva for the relevant charge, that takes precedence over the guarantee and the dispute resolution process supersedes this Refund Policy until the dispute is resolved. We ask that you contact us directly within the guarantee window before initiating a dispute.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under the guarantee:
- Email billing@rekva.ai from the email address associated with your account
- Subject line: "Refund request"
- Include your account email and the reason for the request
- Submit the request within 30 days of your first subscription charge
We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and confirm eligibility within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after approval. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 3 to 5 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your statement.
4. Refund Denial
We may deny a refund request if any of the eligibility conditions in Section 2 are not satisfied, or if we reasonably determine that the request constitutes refund abuse, as described in Section 4 of the Terms of Service. Specifically, denials may apply when:
- The account has not received the minimum five inbound calls during the first 30 days
- The account, customer, or any related entity has previously received a refund under the guarantee
- The request is submitted after the 30-day window
- The refund is for a charge other than the first month's base subscription
- The account is being used in violation of the Acceptable Use section of the Terms
- Rekva has provisioned a phone number that the customer continues to use, port, or retain after a refund would be issued
- Pattern of activity across multiple accounts indicates the request is part of a cycling or trial-abuse pattern
If we deny a request, we will provide a short written explanation. You may respond within 14 days to provide additional context, which we will review in good faith.
5. Cancellations Outside the Guarantee
Outside the 30-day money-back guarantee, Rekva does not offer refunds, including for:
- Partial months
- Unused minutes
- Unused time after cancellation
- Renewals that you did not cancel before the renewal date
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to the Service through that period.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact billing@rekva.ai first. Most concerns can be resolved within a few business days. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us removes our ability to address the concern directly and may result in your account being suspended pending dispute resolution.
Repeated or unsubstantiated chargebacks may result in immediate account termination and a permanent block on creating future Rekva accounts under the same identifiers (as defined in Section 2.2).
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. For material changes that affect existing customers, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email to the address associated with your account. Changes do not apply retroactively to refund requests already submitted under the prior version.
